Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Store Keeper to manage warehouse and store operations supporting construction, facilities management, and electrical testing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory control, material handling, stock accuracy, and ensuring the timely availability of materials while maintaining compliance with company procedures and HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all warehouse and store operations for construction, Electrical testing and FM projects.
- Ensure proper receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, and issuance of materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through and conduct periodic stock reconciliation.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with Procurement to avoid material shortages.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize material loss, damage, and obsolescence.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Finance regarding material requirements and availability.
- Review and approve material receiving reports (MRR), store issue vouchers (SIV), and material transfer requests.
- Conduct monthly stock audits and prepare inventory reports for management.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain Purchase Order (PO) Material Delivery Tracker and monitor delivery status, Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely material deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Supervisor, or in a similar inventory management role.
- Experience in construction, facilities management, or electrical testing projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and material control processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
- Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records.
