Overview:

As the Women's Academy Doctor at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will lead and deliver medical services across the Women's Academy, supporting four academy squads. You will play a key role in building a modern medical department from the ground up, ensuring the highest standards of player health, wellbeing, injury management, and medical governance while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff across the club.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Leadership

• Lead the delivery of medical care across all Women's Academy training sessions and matches
• Develop and implement medical systems, policies, and governance processes to support a high-performance environment
• Establish best practice medical standards aligned with the wider club's performance strategy

Performance Delivery

• Oversee injury diagnosis, management, rehabilitation, and return-to-play processes
• Deliver comprehensive player health screening and ongoing medical monitoring
• Provide expert clinical support to maximise player availability and performance

Player Health and Wellbeing

• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all relevant medical and regulatory standards
• Deliver education programmes focused on injury prevention, female athlete health, and player wellbeing
• Promote a proactive approach to player care and long-term athlete development

Collaboration

• Coordinate medical provision across training sessions and matchdays
• Work closely with coaching, performance, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary staff to support player development
• Ensure alignment with the Women's First Team medical department to provide a consistent medical philosophy across the club

Qualifications

Desirable:

• Postgraduate qualification in Sports Medicine
• Experience working within football or elite sport environments
• Experience working within youth or academy football programmes

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

• Saudi National
• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Licensed with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
• Experience in sports medicine or athlete care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary high-performance environment
• Knowledge of female athlete health and the specific medical considerations within women's football

Desirable:

• Experience developing medical systems and governance processes
• Experience supporting the growth of high-performance sporting environments
