ACCEL International Inc. Saudi for Education offer comprehensive educational, behavioral, therapeutic, and vocational programs designed to empower individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Screen students for speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing difficulties, and determine the need for further assessment and referral.
• Conduct culturally and linguistically appropriate comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and social communication skills.
• Assess the need for and requirements of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and devices as a mode of communication.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for speech and language services, including social communication goals, literacy development goals, and objectives that support self-regulation and social interaction skills to facilitate participation in the mainstream curriculum.
• Develop home-based intervention plans and provide family support and guidance.
• Deliver speech and language therapy services and maintain accurate documentation of student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and members of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) multidisciplinary team to determine and implement appropriate educational and therapeutic services.
• Work collaboratively with teachers within interdisciplinary classroom models to support student success.
• Counsel students and their families regarding communication-related concerns and provide education, training, and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited institution in Speech Language Pathology in healthcare and/or school settings.
• Valid license to practice from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical and/or educational Speech Language Pathology experience serving children and adolescents between the ages of 3 and 18 years.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (required).

Preferred

• Professional certification from an accredited Speech and Language Association (e.g., ASHA).
• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Experience with Assistive Technology and AAC systems.
