Saud International School is inviting applications for the position of English Teacher.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching English, confident in classroom delivery, and able to support students in developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The teacher will be expected to create a positive learning environment, prepare effective lessons, assess student progress, and work closely with the academic team to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and academic expectations.
- Support students in improving their English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Plan lessons, worksheets, activities, assessments, and learning resources according to student needs.
- Maintain effective classroom management and encourage respectful student behavior.
- Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, assignments, and student progress.
- Use the school’s LMS and academic systems as required.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, coordinators, and school leadership when needed.
- Participate in school activities, academic meetings, events, and professional development sessions.
- Contribute positively to the academic culture and values of Saud International School.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification or relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Experience in teaching English in an international school environment is an advantage.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and support students of different learning levels.
- Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and commitment to student development.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow school policies and academic procedures.
