مدير دولي لليقظة الدوائية (International PV Manager) في شركة Vertex Pharmaceuticals، المملكة العربية السعودية. عضو في فريق اليقظة الدوائية الدولية لسلامة المرضى العالمية (GPS)، مسؤول عن قيادة والحفاظ على الامتثال للوائح اليقظة الدوائية لمنتجات Vertex في المنطقة. يعمل باستقلالية عالية ومساءلة، ويطبق المعرفة التنظيمية الإقليمية على التنفيذ العملي، ويتخذ القرارات اليومية ضمن مسؤوليات الامتثال المحددة، ويرفع المخاطر الجوهرية إلى قيادة اليقظة الدوائية الدولية. هذا الدور غير ترويجي تمامًا ويعمل وفقًا لمبادئ اليقظة الدوائية.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- ضمان توافق أنشطة اليقظة الدوائية في المنطقة المخصصة وإجراءات GPS مع اللوائح العالمية والمحلية.
- قيادة تنسيق وإتمام الاتفاقيات التعاقدية المطلوبة لـ GPS للوفاء بالالتزامات التنظيمية المحلية والإقليمية.
- الحفاظ على معرفة عملية بالتوقعات المتطورة لليقظة الدوائية في المنطقة.
- المسؤولية عن تقييم المعلومات التنظيمية لليقظة الدوائية المؤثرة على المنطقة وتحديد إجراءات التصعيد أو التنفيذ أو إشراك أصحاب المصلحة ضمن السلطة المحددة.
- تقييم فعالية نظام إدارة الجودة للأنشطة الإقليمية المخصصة والتوصية بالتحسينات، بما في ذلك التوطين عند الحاجة.
- مراجعة وربما المسؤولية عن كتابة إجراءات التشغيل القياسية (SOPs) وتعليمات العمل (WIs) بإشراف بسيط.
- الحفاظ على وثائق اليقظة الدوائية المطلوبة والمساءلة عنها، بما في ذلك أقسام PSMF والملاحق ووصف الأدوار وسجلات التدريب.
- تقديم الإشراف من GPS على أنشطة اليقظة الدوائية التي يقوم بها الموظفون والموردون والشركاء، بما في ذلك مراقبة الأداء وتحديد المخاطر ودفع المتابعة في الوقت المناسب.
- مراجعة مقاييس اليقظة الدوائية وتقارير الامتثال وسجلات المشكلات؛ ورفع الانحرافات أو المخاطر أو التأخيرات.

- قيادة بناء وصيانة نظام اليقظة الدوائية لـ Vertex في الأسواق الجديدة المخصصة.
- تمثيل GPS فيما يتعلق بقضايا سلامة المرضى حسب التكليف.
- تمثيل Vertex GPS كشخص مسؤول محلي لليقظة الدوائية (RPPV) أو شخص مؤهل لليقظة الدوائية (QPPV) أو نائب حسب التكليف.
- ممارسة سلطة اتخاذ القرارات المحددة للامتثال الإقليمي لليقظة الدوائية ومسائل الإشراف، بما في ذلك تحديد متى يمكن حل المشكلات محليًا ومتى يلزم التصعيد إلى قيادة اليقظة الدوائية الدولية.

الشروط والمتطلبات
- جواز سفر سعودي.
- درجة البكالوريوس في الطب أو الصيدلة (مطلوب).
- خبرة مباشرة من 5-7 سنوات في اليقظة الدوائية، تشمل مساءلة مثبتة عن الامتثال الإقليمي لليقظة الدوائية أو الإشراف أو المخرجات التشغيلية.
- مرخص من الهيئة السعودية للتخصصات الصحية.
- معرفة قوية بأنظمة وعمليات اليقظة الدوائية.
- معرفة وثيقة وتوثيق للتعليم في مجال لوائح اليقظة الدوائية ومعاييرها وأفضل ممارساتها فيما يتعلق بمعالجة السلامة والإبلاغ والمراقبة وأنشطة الامتثال في صناعة الأدوية في مرحلة ما بعد التسويق.
- مهارات تشغيلية قوية كما يتضح من قيادة مشاريع سابقة أو وظائف أو أنشطة امتثال إقليمية مع ملكية ومساءلة قابلة للقياس.

Job Description
The International Pharmacovigilance (PV) Manager is a member of the Global Patient Safety (GPS) International Pharmacovigilance Team responsible for leading and maintaining compliance with PV regulations for Vertex products throughout the region. The Manager role operates with a high degree of independence and accountability, applies regional regulatory knowledge to practical execution, makes recommendations and day-to-day decisions within defined PV compliance responsibilities, and escalates material risks appropriately to International PV leadership. This individual ensures that work performed within the role’s scope is in accordance with relevant regulatory guidelines.

- Leads coordination and finalization of required GPS contractual agreements to support local and regional PV regulatory obligations

- Responsible for assessment of PV regulatory intelligence impacting the region and determines appropriate escalation, implementation, or stakeholder engagement actions within defined authority
- Evaluates effectiveness of the Quality Management System for assigned regional activities and recommends improvements, including localization where needed
- Reviews and may be responsible for authoring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) with minimal supervision
- Maintains and is accountable for required PV documentation, including PSMF sections, annexes, role descriptions, and training records
- Provides GPS oversight of PV activities performed by staff, vendors, and partners, including monitoring performance, identifying risks, and driving timely follow-up
- Reviews PV metrics, compliance reports, and issue logs; escalates deviations, risks, or delays
- Leads or actively contributes to vendor/partner meetings related to PV execution, issue resolution, and compliance oversight
- Supports readiness for health authority inspections and internal audits for assigned regional PV activities, including coordination of responses and corrective actions as appropriate (may support onsite PV inspections)
- Leads build out and maintenance of Vertex’s PV system in assigned new markets
- Represents GPS regarding patient safety related matters as assigned
- Represent Vertex GPS as appointed Local Responsible Person for Pharmacovigilance (RPPV) or Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV), or deputy, as assigned
- Exercises defined decision-making authority for assigned regional PV compliance and oversight matters, including determining when issues can be resolved locally and when escalation to International PV leadership is required
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Collect, analyze and utilize data and feedback / share information to identify opportunities to improve relationships cross-functionally, working effectively and lead business-wide improvements
- Liaise between GPS and members of International teams
- Proactively raise awareness and promote GPS activities, policies and best practices
- Share information for innovative corporate improvement projects as endorsed
- Bachelor’s degree in medicine or pharmacy required; 5-7 years of direct pharmacovigilance experience, including demonstrated accountability for regional PV compliance, oversight, or operational deliverables
- Licensed by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
- Solid knowledge of pharmacovigilance system operations and function
- Strong knowledge and documentation of education in the field of pharmacovigilance regulations, standards, and best practices regarding safety processing and reporting, safety surveillance, and pharmaceutical industry compliance activities in the post-marketing setting
- Strong operational skills as demonstrated by leading previous projects, functions, or regional compliance activities with measurable ownership and accountability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (required) and Arabic (required)
- High ethical standards, including a commitment to Vertex’s values and behaviors.

- Remote: work remotely five days per week and come into the office on occasion - you’re always welcome on-site; or select
