Job purpose:

The job Holder shall be Managing all “day to day” tasks to be performed by the Production (Line maintenance)/GSE, Workshops to ensure the best fleet availability and company/contractual objectives. The Job holder shall Implement and execute SAMI Airbus standards and procedures in the shop floor.

Core Responsibility:

• Accountable for high fleet availability to meet and exceed company/customer requirements/KPIs.
• Accountable for roster management (+40) and ensure availability of manpower, resources and program deliverables on time.
• Ensure that all the technicians assigned to every maintenance task have the proper capabilities and resources to perform the job.
• Accountable for management/calibration of GSE/Tools and line maintenance workshops to support daily operations and meet contractual deliverables.
• Detect and report if necessary to the Technical Director the risks and opportunities that might impact contractually of the fleet/Program.
• Responsible for ensuring that the organisation’s procedures/QMS and international aviation standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance.
• Use and manage SQCDP/LeanSixSigma panel/events to control/improve the Line/Base/Workshop issues and initiatives.
• Responsible for CARs prevention and closure within defined timeframe.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Avionics Engineering

B1/B2/C license holder issued by respective regulatory authority is strongly desirable

Formal Training on Airbus Fleet - (A330 desired).

At least five (5) years of experience working as MRO Manager

Competencies & Skills:

1. Negotiation level at English language (Technical & Aeronautical) is essential.
2. Knowledge and proficiency in reading and interpretation of Aircraft and component manuals and Eng Work orders (TSM, MEL, IPC, AMM, SRM, AWM.).
3. Good Computer skills with at least knowledge in MS office, airworthiness ERPs (M4A, AMOS, SAP, Trax..) and Lean Six sigma projects
4. Highest standard in terms of quality, reliability and safety.
5. Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
