JOB SUMMARY:

To provide Practical/Theory, experience/support on CASA C295 to the customer Technicians. Support the students to become qualified technicians to the required standards. To develop student competence to enable them to enable them to work efficiently in their duties after the OJT phase. To act as a technical training instructor to deliver mandatory/non-mandatory training such as Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS etc to all staff within SAMI AB.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility will be to oversee and implement the OJT/training program for the customer. This includes

training and observation of trainees with respect to their performance against established training objectives

and recommendation of additional skill requirements as training needed.

• Develop OJT training programs and participate on teams developing training plans and OJT program.
• Assist in developing general training instructions, checklists and visual aids.
• Conduct Training as per the customer regulation and procedures.
• Follow up the student progress according the OJT program and customer formats.
• Keep their B1 or B2 licenses current through the compulsory recurrent and continuous training.
• Join the MRO duties as per the customer training requirements.

Develop and deliver additional training as per the training manager’s requirements.

Qualifications:

• License Holder EASA Part 66 B1/ B2 or both or Military equivalent.

Type Rating on C295.

• Completion of a “Train the trainer course” to a nationally recognized standard.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience working on the C295.
• Good Communication skills read, write and speak English language.
• Previous experience in operator or line work in an MRO environment.
• Previous experience as a trainer preferred.
