Join the team delivering one of the region's largest international football tournaments. We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager with a strong background in event health & safety and HSE training to ensure the safe delivery of tournament operations across venues and event sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) programs for tournament operations.
- Develop and deliver HSE training, safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for staff, contractors, volunteers, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and international best practices.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills and exercises.
- Monitor contractor HSE performance and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain HSE documentation, training records, and compliance reports.
- Work closely with venue operations and other stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture throughout the tournament.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification.
- Fluent Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Proven HSE experience within the events industry is mandatory (sports events, stadiums, exhibitions, festivals, concerts, or other major live events).
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering HSE training, inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, emergency preparedness, and HSE compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
