Job Summary

The Spa Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and operational readiness of all Wellness & Spa facilities, including treatment rooms, public areas, changing rooms, relaxation lounges, fitness cenbratre, wellness studios, and Spa Retail Boutique. 

The role ensures that all guest areas are maintained to the highest standards of luxury hospitality while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the department. 

The Spa Attendant is also responsible for linen management, replenishment of amenities and operating supplies, equipment upkeep, and reporting maintenance issues to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and associates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Quality:

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene throughout the Wellness & Spa in accordance with Rosewood Brand Standards, Forbes Five-Star Standards, and LQA requirements. 
• Ensure all guest areas are consistently clean, organized, well-presented, and fully operational. 
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each treatment, ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for the next guest. 
• Maintain a calm, relaxing, and welcoming atmosphere throughout all wellness facilities. 
• Conduct routine inspections of all wellness areas and promptly report any deficiencies.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all spa treatment rooms, consultation rooms, relaxation lounges, locker rooms, changing rooms, wet areas, wellness studios, fitness centre, reception, retail boutique, and back-of-house areas. 
• Prepare treatment rooms by replenishing linens, towels, amenities, beverages, treatment products, and guest supplies. 
• Ensure all wellness facilities remain guest-ready throughout operating hours. 
• Clean and sanitize treatment beds, lockers, showers, steam rooms, sauna, washrooms, and fitness equipment in accordance with hygiene standards. 
• Monitor guest amenities and replenish water, refreshments, toiletries, disposable items, and wellness supplies as required. 
• Assist with the setup of wellness activities, yoga classes, fitness sessions, and special events. 
• Support therapists and the Wellness Concierge with operational requests to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Manage the daily collection, sorting, distribution, and storage of spa linens, towels, bathrobes, slippers and ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available throughout all operational areas. 
• Monitor linen quality and report damaged or worn items for replacement. 
• Maintain storage rooms in a clean, organized, and efficient manner. 
• Assist with inventory counts of linens, operating supplies, guest amenities, and treatment consumables. 
• Replenish operational supplies while minimizing wastage and following inventory control procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections of spa facilities and wellness equipment to identify maintenance concerns. 
• Report maintenance issues promptly through the hotel's maintenance reporting system. 
• Coordinate with Engineering to ensure timely repair of equipment, lighting, plumbing, air conditioning, lockers, showers, and wellness facilities. 
• Monitor the condition of furniture, fixtures, treatment beds, fitness equipment, and decorative elements to ensure they remain in excellent condition. 
• Follow up on outstanding maintenance requests to ensure minimal disruption to guest experiences.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Fitness Centre, ensuring all fitness equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and arranged correctly throughout the day. 
• Replenish towels, water stations, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies within the Fitness Centre. 
• Ensure the Spa Retail Boutique remains clean, organized, dust-free, and visually appealing. 
• Work collaboratively with the Wellness Concierge, Spa Therapists, Fitness team, and other hotel departments.

• Maintain Rosewood Brand Standards, Forbes Five-Star Standards, and LQA requirements. 
• Protect guest privacy and confidentiality. 
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance at all times. 
• Support sustainability initiatives through responsible use of water, energy, linen, and cleaning materials. 
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Maintain compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
• Promote a safe environment for guests and associates
