Job Purpose

The HSE Supervisor acts as the link between management and workforce, responsible for the direct supervision of safety policies and procedures across work sites. The role ensures workforce compliance with safety standards, monitors on-site safety practices, identifies and mitigates potential risks, promptly reports violations or incidents, and proactively promotes a safe and healthy working environment

Key Accountabilities

• Supervise the implementation of local HSE regulations and company policies.
• Guide teams to ensure compliance with safety instructions and requirements.
• Proactively monitor worksites, identify hazards, report them, and ensure corrective actions.
• Oversee the availability and proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
• Ensure worker compliance with safety procedures and address violations.
• Supervise risk assessments for all worksites and activities.
• Ensure inspection and maintenance of equipment safety in coordination with relevant teams.
• Lead periodic inspections of sites, emergency exits, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure Implementation and continuous improvement of safety policies and plans.
• Supervise safety training programs, especially for new employees.
• Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive actions.
• Oversee safety reporting, recordkeeping, complaint handling, and workplace improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum Experience: 5-8 years in HSE or occupational safety roles.

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and ability to enforce compliance.
• Ability to plan, deliver, and oversee safety training programs.
• Oversee safety reporting and analyze safety performance metrics.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure full compliance.
• Ability to manage field operations under pressure effectively.
• Oversee the use and enhancement of HSE systems and technologies.
