The Finance Manager is the senior operator who owns that function day to day. You run the general ledger, the monthly close, cash and banking, payroll and the full stack of Saudi statutory compliance - and you build the controls and the small team that keep Front End audit-ready as it grows in revenue. You will work closely with, and ultimately report in to the CFO, and you are the natural candidate to grow into a Financial Controller mandate as the structure matures.
KSA experience is essential, not preferred. This role runs ZATCA e-invoicing, VAT and Zakat, WPS and GOSI, and SOCPA-endorsed IFRS reporting inside an Aramco-ecosystem supplier. Candidates without hands-on Saudi experience will not be considered.
Experience Required
- 8-12 years of progressive finance and accounting experience overall.
- Minimum 4-5 years gained hands-on inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - this is a hard, non-negotiable requirement.
- At least 3 years managing or supervising a finance team, or owning a finance function end to end.
- A demonstrable track record of running full-cycle accounting, monthly close and KSA statutory compliance (ZATCA, VAT, Zakat, WPS, GOSI) without heavy external support.
- Experience in a multi-entity, project-based or Aramco / SABIC-ecosystem business is a strong advantage.
Key responsibilities
Accounting, close & reporting
- Own the general ledger and the month-end close, delivering a complete, reconciled close in 10 working days or fewer against a standard checklist.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and the reporting pack for the CEO, board and CFO, including balance-sheet reviews and account reconciliations.
- Prepare statutory financial statements under SOCPA-endorsed IFRS and act as the primary contact for the external auditor through the annual statutory audit.
- Own bank reconciliations and review WPS / GOSI reconciliations for accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain the accounting policies, chart of accounts and close calendar as the ventures and ERP mature.
Cash, banking & controls
- Manage day-to-day cash flow, bank relationships and payment runs; operate dual bank signatories and the Delegation of Authority thresholds.
- Enforce segregation of duties.
- Enforce three-way match (PO + goods receipt + invoice) before any vendor is paid, and drive weekly AR aging, tracking Aramco-portal invoices through to acceptance.
- Ensure ERP role-based access mirrors the segregation-of-duties matrix - one person, one login, no shared credentials - and support co-sourced internal audit as it comes online.
KSA statutory & regulatory compliance
- ZATCA / FATOORA e-invoicing - own e-invoicing operations and Phase-2 (integration) clearance of invoices through ZATCA, and coordinate ERP integration.
- VAT & Zakat - own periodic VAT returns and the annual Zakat / corporate income tax filing, working with a SOCPA-certified advisor until capability is in-house.
- WPS & GOSI - ensure all payroll runs through the Wage Protection System and that GOSI registration and monthly reconciliation are current.
- Saudization (Nitaqat) & IKTVA - support Nitaqat compliance and own the finance inputs to IKTVA localization scoring as an Aramco-ecosystem supplier.
Team & leadership
- Lead, coach and develop the Accountant and Finance Operations Specialist, building bench strength and a healthy control culture.
- Prioritise the development of Saudi national talent within the finance team in line with the group's localization commitments.
Essential
Qualifications & competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional qualification - SOCPA membership strongly preferred; CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent, ideally alongside or progressing toward SOCPA.
- Direct, hands-on command of ZATCA / FATOORA Phase-2 e-invoicing, KSA VAT, Zakat / CIT filing, WPS and GOSI.
- Strong SOCPA-endorsed IFRS reporting and month-end close discipline.
- Confident user of a mid-market ERP with role-based access controls.
Desirable
- Experience with Aramco / SABIC-class clients - supplier portals, e-invoicing acceptance workflows and extended (60-90+ day) collection cycles.
- Exposure to project costing or working-capital management across multiple ventures.
- Arabic language proficiency alongside professional English.
Competencies
- Rigorous and detail-oriented, with the judgement to know which numbers matter to leadership.
- Backbone to hold the line on controls and approvals under commercial pressure.
- Clear communicator who can explain variances and risk to non-finance leaders.
- Builder's mindset - comfortable creating process where little exists and scaling it as the group grows.
