Role Description The Fitout Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dammam, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising fitout activities for commercial, industrial, and institutional spaces, ensuring they meet design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and technical documents, managing subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring site work, and resolving issues related to materials, finishes, and installation quality. The Fitout Specialist collaborates closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to align fitout execution with project requirements and budget constraints. The role also involves preparing progress reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in fitout processes and standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in interior fitout, space planning, and coordination of finishes, fixtures, and furniture in commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures related to fitout works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, with practical experience in site supervision and contractor management.
• Proficiency in project coordination, scheduling, and basic cost tracking, including working with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors.
• Relevant technical or engineering qualification in construction, architecture, interior design, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and maintain professional client relationships.
• High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and readiness to work in a hybrid model combining on-site presence in Dammam with remote tasks.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC markets and familiarity with Vision 2030-related projects is highly beneficial.
