We are looking for a high-energy and results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing water delivery business. This role is ideal for someone with strong field sales and account management experience in the 5-gallon bulk water category. The ideal candidate deeply understands the unique dynamics of recurring route delivery, corporate contract negotiation, and water dispenser leasing, and can drive immediate commercial growth across B2B corporate offices, the HORECA sector, and residential subscription networks.
You will be responsible for driving sales performance, expanding fleet route coverage, building strong client relationships for recurring volume, and ensuring seamless contract execution. This role involves maximizing asset utilization (coolers and dispensers) while working closely with operations, logistics, route drivers, and finance teams.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Operational Excellence
- Oversee Total Operations: Direct daily end-to-end operations across factory production, sourcing, logistics, and field sales to ensure consistent product availability
- Production Quality & Compliance: Maintain strict oversight of manufacturing functions to guarantee water production quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence
- Continuous Improvement: Implement efficiency strategies across all functions to reduce production costs, optimize asset utilization, and eliminate operational waste
- Commercial Growth & P&L Management
- P&L Ownership: Manage the full business unit P&L, driving both top-line revenue growth and bottom-line profitability
- Drive B2B & HORECA Expansion: Lead and develop the sales team to secure high-volume corporate contracts, facilities supply agreements, and hospitality accounts for 5-gallon water delivery
- Asset & Dispenser Placement: Execute strategies for placing, leasing, or selling water dispensers and filtration units, locking clients into long-term, exclusive water supply contracts
- Hit Recurring Targets: Achieve monthly commercial targets for recurring water jug consumption, equipment rental revenue, and new account acquisition
- Route-to-Market & Logistics Optimization
- Strengthen Route Density: Partner with logistics and dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes, maximize drop-size density, and ensure extensive market coverage
- Coordinate Fleet & Drivers: Communicate daily with route delivery teams to resolve delivery bottlenecks, manage urgent customer requests, and improve dispatch efficiency
- Empty Bottle (Asset) Lifecycle: Oversee the collection and return float of empty 5-gallon jugs from clients back to the factory for sanitization and refilling
- Financial & Performance Tracking
- Set & Track KPIs: Establish and monitor clear performance metrics across both the production plant and the sales team
- Retention & Churn Analytics: Analyze route performance, monitor competitor pricing, track account consumption habits, and maintain deep client relationships to minimize account churn
- Cash Flow & Forecasting: Oversee timely invoicing, collections, and bottle deposit accounts while ensuring accurate sales forecasting and financial reporting
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the central bridge driving seamless collaboration between the factory, logistics, sales, and finance teams
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of senior leadership experience in the 5-gallon bulk water, HOD (Home & Office Delivery), or commercial route-services industry, with a proven track record of managing full business operations
- Commercial Drive: Proven ability to manage a P&L, achieve revenue targets, and scale high-volume B2B, corporate, and HORECA accounts
- Operations & Supply Chain: Strong understanding of end-to-end operations, including factory production management, sourcing, quality compliance, and fleet/delivery logistics
- Efficiency & Optimization: Demonstrated success in setting KPIs, improving route-to-market density, reducing operational waste, and maximizing asset utilization (dispenser/cooler placements and empty bottle returns)
- Leadership & Collaboration: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a field sales team while driving cross-functional collaboration between factory, logistics, and finance
- Communication: Strong negotiation skills with corporate procurement and facilities partners; fluency in English required
