QA/QC Engineer - Oil & GasJob Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our Oil & Gas team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes, ensuring that all project activities comply with client specifications, international standards, and company quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare, review, and maintain Quality Control Plans (QCPs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
• Perform inspections and verify construction, mechanical, piping, welding, and installation activities in accordance with approved specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Prepare and manage inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and quality documentation.
• Review material certificates, inspection records, test reports, and as-built documentation.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes and standards, including ISO, API, ASME, ASTM, and project specifications.
• Promote adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements during all inspection activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3-8 years of QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and international standards such as API, ASME, ASTM, and relevant client specifications.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing ITPs, Method Statements, Inspection Requests (IRs), and quality documentation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Certifications

• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor.
• CSWIP 3.1, API Certification, or equivalent QA/QC certifications.
• NDT Level II certification is an advantage.
