Overview:

As the Women's First Team Player Care Manager at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will provide comprehensive operational, logistical, and wellbeing support to Women's First Team players. You will ensure a seamless transition for both local and international players into the club and the local community, managing off-pitch logistics and personal welfare so players are fully supported to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

Relocation and Onboarding

• Coordinate player and staff relocation, sourcing appropriate, secure, and fully furnished accommodation in Al Khobar
• Manage airport arrivals, temporary accommodation, and transport orientation for new arrivals
• Support players with setting up bank accounts, mobile phone contracts, utilities, and internet services
• Work closely with HR and Government Relations to coordinate visas, residency permits (Iqama), and medical screening requirements

Player Welfare and Lifestyle Support

• Act as the primary off-pitch point of contact for players and staff, providing support with personal welfare, healthcare, and day-to-day living
• Deliver cultural orientation sessions to help international players integrate into Saudi Arabia
• Coordinate access to lifestyle education, language lessons, and personal development opportunities
• Support players' families with school enrolment, childcare, and wider community integration where required

Matchday and Team Operations

• Work closely with the Team Manager to coordinate hotel allocations and player welfare during away fixtures
• Manage ticket requests for players' family and friends at home and away matches
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Commercial departments to coordinate player appearances while ensuring player welfare remains the priority

Player Development and Transition

• Organise workshops covering key life skills including financial literacy, media training, and career transition planning
• Manage the off-boarding process for departing players, including accommodation, account closures, and relocation logistics
• Support players throughout every stage of their journey with the club

Qualifications

Desirable:

• Previous experience working within women's professional sport
• Degree in Sports Management, Psychology, Social Work, Hospitality, or a related discipline

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working within an elite sporting environment, ideally in football player care, team operations, or player welfare
• Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian culture and the challenges faced by international players relocating to the region
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships while maintaining complete confidentiality
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve complex logistical challenges at short notice
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays

Desirable:

• Experience supporting international athletes relocating to new environments
• Experience coordinating player education, wellbeing, or lifestyle programmes
