شركة Mott MacDonald، إحدى كبرى شركات الاستشارات الهندسية والإدارية العالمية، تعلن عن وظيفة مدير تصميم رئيسي في الرياض، المملكة العربية السعودية، للإشراف على مشاريع الأبراج والمجمعات متعددة الاستخدامات الفاخرة.
نبذة عن الوظيفة
يتولى هذا الدور القيادة المسؤولة عن إدارة وتنفيذ التصميم من البداية إلى النهاية لمشاريع معقدة وعالية المستوى، ويعمل كنقطة اتصال واحدة للتميز في التصميم، ويدمج الإدارة الفنية والابتكار والامتثال والقيادة مع أصحاب المصلحة. كما يقدم استشارات حاسمة للعملاء لضمان تسليم النتائج بأمان وكفاءة وفقًا لحوكمة الشركة وأفضل الممارسات والمعايير الإقليمية.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- قيادة عملية التصميم الشاملة من تعريف المتطلبات إلى التسليم، بما يشمل النطاق وأساس التصميم وإدارة المخاطر وضمان الجودة والامتثال للوائح.
- العمل كمدير تصميم أو رئيس مشروع، وتطبيق أنظمة إدارة الشركة وعمليات ضمان الجودة والمراقبة ومتطلبات الحوكمة.
- دمج وقيادة فرق التصميم متعددة التخصصات، وضمان التنسيق القوي والمراجعات المستقلة والمخرجات الفنية عالية الجودة.
- الحفاظ على الملكية الكاملة لحلول التصميم، بما في ذلك إدارة التغيير واعتماد الجهات الرقابية وإعداد التقارير وإدارة التصعيد.
- بناء علاقات موثوقة مع العملاء وأصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيين، والعمل كمستشار أول ونقطة تصعيد للمسائل المتعلقة بالتصميم.
- إدارة المخاطر الفنية والتجارية والبرنامجية والسمعة بشكل استباقي، مع تحديد فرص تحسين القيمة ونتائج التسليم.
- تعزيز الابتكار والتحول الرقمي والاستدامة من خلال تطبيق الحلول المستقبلية وأطر مثل LEED وEstidama.

الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة أو العمارة (يفضل الماجستير).
- يفضل الحصول على شهادة مهندس أو معماري معتمد أو ما يعادلها.
- خبرة كبيرة في إدارة التصميم ضمن البيئة العمرانية، بما في ذلك تسليم مشاريع الأبراج والمجمعات متعددة الاستخدامات.
- خبرة مثبتة في العمل في منطقة الشرق الأوسط / الخليج ضمن بيئة استشارية.
- فهم قوي للرقابة على المشاريع والإدارة التجارية والعقود، بما في ذلك عقود FIDIC.
- خبرة في العمل وفق مبادئ التصميم وفق الميزانية بالتعاون مع مستشاري التكاليف.
المهارات المطلوبة
- مهارات قيادية ممتازة وإدارة أصحاب المصلحة والتواصل مع العملاء.
- القدرة على التحدث باللغة العربية مفيدة ولكنها غير إلزامية.

The role plays a critical advisory position with clients, ensuring outcomes are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with Mott MacDonald governance, best practice and regional standards.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
- Lead and control the end‑to‑end design process, from requirements definition through to delivery, including scope, basis of design, risk, quality assurance and statutory compliance
- Act as Design Manager and/or Project Principal, applying Mott MacDonald management systems, QA/QC processes and governance requirements.
- Integrate and lead multi‑disciplinary design teams, ensuring robust coordination, independent checks and high‑quality technical outputs.
- Maintain overall ownership of design solutions, including change control, authority approvals, reporting and escalation management.
- Build and sustain trusted client and key stakeholder relationships, acting as a senior advisor and point of escalation on design‑related matters.
- Proactively manage technical, commercial, programme and reputational risk, while identifying opportunities to enhance value and delivery outcomes.
- Champion innovation, digital enablement and sustainability, embedding future‑ready solutions and applying frameworks such as LEED and Estidama.
- Lead, mentor and develop teams, fostering a high‑performance, inclusive culture aligned with technical excellence and professional growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture (Master’s degree advantageous).
- Chartered Engineer / Architect or equivalent professional registration preferred.
- Significant experience in design management within the built environment, including delivery of high‑rise and mixed‑use developments.
- Proven experience working in the Middle East / Gulf region within a consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of project controls, commercial management and contracts, including FIDIC
- Experience working to design‑to‑budget principles in collaboration with cost consultants.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and client‑facing communication skills.
- Arabic language capability is beneficial but not mandatory.
