K ey Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Conducts psychiatric interviews and collects data for diagnostic purposes.

2. Participates in providing various psychotherapies, including individual, group and family therapies.

3. Participates in using behavioral methods for the treatment of adults and in planning the frequency, intensity

and duration of treatment.

4. Performs psychometric (mental measuring) testing for diagnosis and evaluation of therapy.

5. Engages in research and educational activities that will improve methods and techniques for the

management of emotionally disturbed patients.

6. Keeps current with ideas in the fields of personality development and adjustment, diagnosis, treatment and

prevention of mental disorders to assist in the planning of mental health progress.

7. Participates in, in-service teaching programs in his/her field.

8. Adheres to the bylaws, rules and regulations and assures that the work performed is in keeping with the

established standards of accreditations of the Fakeeh Health Care facility.

9. Participates in committee functions as assigned.

10. Keeps confidentiality of the patient’s disease and does not provide any medical summaries or in formations

about patients unless authorized according to Fakeeh Care policies and procedures.

11. Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments and preventative measures if

applicable.

12. Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.

Job Requirements

Skills and Abilities: - Good physical, mental conditions and Affirmative recommendations

Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of clinical psychology

Education: Bachelor Degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University

Language: Fluency in Arabic and English

Licenses / Certifications: License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS / DHA)
