Job Purpose / Role:

To develop and enhance products within SAMA regulations and guidelines and market demands, with the express aim of creating a heightened awareness of the Bank’s corporate products maintaining highest quality standards to meet market share targets and objectives.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
• Proposes and develops new products in order to enhance competiveness of GTS product portfolio.
• Research Products/trends and understand client needs to develop enhanced solutions.
• Directs the enhancement of products portfolio by proactively overseeing competitor’s offerings and prevailing clients’ needs.
• Promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon
• Revisiting the process of each product. Implement re-engineering when required
• Enhances GTS product portfolio by reviewing current product characteristics vis-à-vis the competitor’s offerings and prevailing clients’ needs
• Reviews the process and delays on the provision of service in order to make recommendations on how to improve service to clients and customers
• Manages the implementation of new and revised products in coordination with the concerned units in order to ensure smooth and effective launch in the market
• Collaborates with Legal and Compliance (Sharia) departments in order to effectively amend and simplify contracts of existing products
• Analyzes sales figures and customer feedback in order to effectively monitor the performance of products and adjust product features as necessary
• Ensures interaction with other Sales specialists to maximize cross-selling efforts and follow upon the identification of leads for other areas of the bank
• Shares responsibility for Product P&L for products under the related portfolio
• Trains and supports concerned units on new products and changes in product features in order to ensure adequate understanding and awareness and ability to recommend the same to the customers
• Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
• Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Riyad Bank to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
• Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with preferably a specialization in Finance or Accounting

Minimum Experience

• 6-8 years relevant experience in the banking sector

Language

• English: Advanced

Technical Knowledge Areas
