We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage, maintain, and track all technical and project documentation across large-scale Infrastructure and Mass Earthworks projects.
The candidate will be responsible for administering the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), controlling the flow of submittals, drawings, RFIs, and commercial records, and ensuring full compliance with project document control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, archive, and track all incoming and outgoing project documentation, including engineering drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Maintain and update the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and detailed master document logs.
- Process, distribute, and register Technical Queries (RFIs), Site Instructions (SIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Letters/Transmittals.
- Ensure strict adherence to document naming conventions, coding standards, and quality control procedures.
- Coordinate closely with Project Directors, Technical Engineers, QA/QC teams, consultants, and clients to facilitate smooth document workflows and timely approvals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Information Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Required Skills & Systems:
- High proficiency in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, PrimePro, Procore, or SharePoint.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel for log management and tracking.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5+ years of document control experience in major civil infrastructure, site development, and heavy earthworks projects.
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and sound understanding of construction documentation workflows.
