Overview:

As the First Team Translator at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will play a vital role in supporting communication across the club's First Team environment. Working closely with coaches, players and staff, you will ensure tactical, operational and day-to-day information is communicated clearly and accurately across English, Spanish and Arabic.

Key Responsibilities:

Language & Communication Support

• Provide live and written translation between English, Spanish and Arabic for coaches, players and staff.
• Support communication during training sessions, tactical meetings and match analysis.
• Translate official club documents, training materials, reports and internal communications.
• Facilitate effective communication between international players and club staff.

Tactical & Technical Understanding

• Accurately interpret football terminology, tactical discussions and coaching instructions.
• Assist with the translation of tactical meetings, set-piece discussions and video analysis sessions.
• Ensure football-specific language is communicated clearly to support player understanding and performance.

Language Development

• Deliver language sessions and educational workshops for staff.
• Support players and staff in developing football-specific language and communication.
• Help international players and staff integrate by providing guidance on local culture and customs.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Languages, Education, Literature or a related discipline.

Desirable:

• SAFF, AFC C License
• FIFA Guardian Safeguarding qualification.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

• Fluency in English, Spanish and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately under pressure within an elite football environment.

Desirable:

• Previous experience teaching or delivering English language education.
• Strong understanding of football tactics, coaching methodologies, and terminology.
