Job Purpose:

To oversee design and site execution activities for civil works supporting healthcare facilities and other building types, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety standards, schedules, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Supervise construction works at site including but not limited to; demolition, excavation, reinforcement, formworks, concrete casting, repair works, etc.

2. Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting construction site, and verifying calculations and placements.

3. Manage site crew (foremen, carpenters, labors, …).

4. Simultaneously lead multiple project site teams and work effectively in a multi-project environment.

5. Capable of shifting attention from project to another while minimizing the switch-over time.

6. Handle concrete Mix design & concrete lab tests.

7. Analyze the results of tests on building materials, such as concrete, wood, asphalt, or steel, for use in particular projects.

8. Perform or oversee surveying operations to establish building locations, site layouts, reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.

9. Compile and submit permit applications to governmental agencies, verifying that projects comply with various regulations.

10. Resolve site conflicts when they arise.

11. Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.

12. Oversee and analyze the results of soil testing to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations.

13. Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs.

14. Preparing engineering SOW, BOQ, and confirming specifications.

15. Designs construction projects by studying project concepts, architectural drawings, and models.

16. Determines project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.

17. Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.

18. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Job Requirements

Skills and Abilities:

- Proficiency in design software.

- CAD and AutoCAD proficiency.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in site execution and supervision of civil, structural, and finishing works, including coordination with vendors/subcontractors and MEP teams.

Education:

Bachler’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Language:

Excellent command of oral and written English and prefer Arabic.

Licenses / Certifications:

SCE, PMP (Preferable).
