AI Security Lead

Senior / Dual-Hat Role - Technical Leadership & Business Development

Role Overview

Our client is a mid-size global company establishing a new AI Security department to cover the GCC region. They are seeking a Senior AI Security Lead to serve in a dual-hat capacity: a hands-on technical authority on AI and agentic system security, and a business driver responsible for expanding client relationships and growing new engagements. This role suits a practitioner who can architect and personally build secure AI systems while also owning strategic client conversations, shaping go-to-market offerings, and driving revenue growth around AI security and governance.

Technical Leadership

• Architected Secure-by-Design Multi-Agent Systems (MAS): Personally architected and hands-on built autonomous agentic frameworks for global defense clients, applying secure-by-design principles to automate real-time threat hunting and proactive incident response.
• Directed Responsible & Ethical AI Engineering: Led design and hands-on engineering of enterprise-wide Ethical AI frameworks, re-engineering models to reduce algorithmic bias and strengthen explainability, privacy, and robustness.
• Led Advanced AI Red Teaming & Risk Management: Personally conducted predictive vulnerability exploitation and incident response, building and running autonomous agents for offensive security testing and digital twin simulations.
• Orchestrated Trustworthy AI Governance: Aligned AI lifecycles with international standards (ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF) to maintain long-term model integrity and regulatory transparency across enterprise operations.
• Implemented MLSecOps & LLM Security: Applied security best practices - including the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and Agentic AI - directly within automated MLOps pipelines to ensure secure model productionization.
• Spearheaded Secure Digital Transformation: Embedded security into the AI development lifecycle via DevSecOps, personally leading technical delivery on 5G, IoT, and high-autonomy AI deployments.

Business Development

• Drove New Business Growth: Identified, pursued, and closed new AI security and governance engagements, building trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite and government stakeholders.
• Shaped Go-to-Market Strategy: Translated technical capabilities (red teaming, MLSecOps, AI governance) into new service offerings and client-facing propositions, contributing directly to pipeline and revenue growth.
• Cultivated Executive Relationships: Served as a trusted technical advisor to senior client leadership, guiding responsible AI adoption strategy and long-term account expansion.

Qualifications

• Experience: 15+ years in cybersecurity, with 5+ years focused on AI/ML security, red teaming, or AI governance.
• Technical Depth: Demonstrated hands-on expertise building and securing agentic/multi-agent AI systems, LLM applications, and MLOps pipelines.
• Standards & Frameworks: Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and Agentic AI.
• Business Acumen: Track record of client relationship ownership, business development, or revenue-generating technical advisory work.
