Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Scientist role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Data Scientist will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that support government platforms and digital services. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and modeling data; performing statistical and exploratory analyses; and building predictive and machine learning models to address complex business and policy questions. The role involves creating dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as documenting methodologies and presenting findings in a clear, actionable manner. The Data Scientist will contribute to continuous improvement of data pipelines, collaborate on AI and analytics initiatives, and help ensure that solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Science and Data Analytics for building models, deriving insights, and solving complex analytical problems.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Data Analysis and Statistics for hypothesis testing, experimental design, and rigorous quantitative evaluation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Data Visualization for designing dashboards and reports that clearly communicate trends and performance indicators.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data tools (e.g., SQL, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or similar frameworks).
- Experience with machine learning techniques and model lifecycle, including feature engineering, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and data infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), and version control tools such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; experience in government or regulated industries is an advantage.
