Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Design Project Manager with a proven background in leading the design and delivery of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. The successful candidate will manage the complete design lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with client requirements, international standards, and company quality procedures.

This role requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and coordination across multiple engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design delivery of major multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction documentation.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, design programmes, resource plans, and project budgets.
• Coordinate Architectural, Structural, MEP, Infrastructure, Landscape, BIM, and specialist disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify design risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international design standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct regular design coordination meetings and technical reviews.
• Review project deliverables to ensure quality, constructability, and commercial objectives are achieved.
• Manage project scope changes and coordinate with commercial teams regarding contractual implications.
• Support proposal preparation, fee estimation, and resource planning for new opportunities.
• Mentor project teams and promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure effective coordination with BIM and Digital Engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
• Master's degree or Project Management certification (PMP) is an advantage.
• Professional registration is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 12-15 years of professional experience within engineering consultancy or design firms.
• At least 5 years in a Project Manager or Design Manager role.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale mixed-use developments, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, aviation, infrastructure, government, or mega projects.
• Experience working on projects within the GCC, preferably Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination and project delivery.

Technical Skills

• Excellent knowledge of design management methodologies.
• Strong understanding of international building codes and Saudi regulations.
• Experience with project planning and scheduling tools (Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project).
• Working knowledge of BIM workflows and Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract administration knowledge.
