Role Description This full-time, on-site Safety Engineer role is based in Riyadh and focuses on ensuring safe working conditions across Arabian Dyar | الديار العربية projects and facilities. The Safety Engineer monitors daily operations to identify hazards, conducts routine safety inspections, and ensures compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities include developing and implementing safety plans, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures, as well as preparing incident reports and recommending corrective actions. The role also involves coordinating safety training sessions, collaborating with project and site teams to integrate safety standards into construction activities, and working closely with security and occupational health professionals to maintain a safe and secure environment for all personnel.

Qualifications

• Must Have experience in the development real; estate industry 4 years at least
• Strong foundation in Safety Engineering, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety program implementation.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health practices, regulations, and standards relevant to construction and facility operations.
• Experience collaborating with Security teams to support safe access control, incident response, and emergency preparedness.
• Ability to design and deliver Training focused on safety procedures, safe work practices, and emergency response for diverse teams.
• Hands-on experience with Construction Safety, including site inspections, method statements, and enforcement of safety rules for contractors and staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with local and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO, or equivalent) and applicable regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams on safety-related decisions.
• Proven ability to work on-site in a multidisciplinary environment and coordinate with engineering, construction, and management teams.
• Professional certifications in safety or occupational health (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
