Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, open to Saudi nationals. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations including posting journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing periodic financial reports. Responsibilities include reviewing invoices and payment requests, processing accounts payable and receivable, supporting budgeting and cost control activities, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing. The role also involves ensuring compliance with internal policies, Saudi accounting standards, tax and Zakat regulations, and supporting internal and external audits with accurate documentation. The Accountant will collaborate with project teams and management to provide financial data and analysis that supports decision-making and effective project execution.

The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations including posting journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing periodic financial reports. Responsibilities include cost accounting, inventory accounting, and processing progress billings and contract-related transactions for both manufacturing and contracting operations. The role also involves supporting monthly closings, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and Saudi accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting within factories or contracting companies
• Saudi national, with the ability to work on-site in Riyadh
• Strong knowledge of accounting entries and financial reporting
• Experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, progress billings (extracts), and contract accounting
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in monthly closings and preparing financial statements
• Experience in industrial cost accounting and preparing cost/variance reports (for manufacturing)
• Experience in project accounting, progress billings, and contract accounting (for contracting)
