Job Objective
To accurately and timely process and disburse employee payroll, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws, social insurance regulations, and internal company policies, while efficiently handling all financial dues and deductions.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
1. Payroll Processing:
- Collect and review attendance records, overtime hours, leaves, and monthly deductions in coordination with the Personnel department.
- Accurately calculate monthly salaries including allowances, bonuses, commissions, and legal deductions.
- Prepare monthly payroll sheets, submit them to the Finance Department for approval, and execute bank transfers on schedule.
2. Compliance and Government Regulations:
- Calculate and remit social insurance contributions and taxes/zakat (where applicable) within statutory deadlines.
- Update employee wage-related data on relevant government portals (such as Social Insurance and Wage Protection Systems).
- Ensure continuous compliance of all payroll operations with local labor laws and Wage Protection System (WPS) regulations.
3. Benefits and Settlements Management:
- Calculate end-of-service benefits, unused leaves, and contract termination dues for resigned or terminated employees.
- Manage and track employee loans and advances in coordination with the Finance Department.
- Prepare financial and administrative reports regarding payroll and associated costs upon senior management request.
4. Internal Customer Service (Employees):
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding salaries, allowances, deductions, and payslips.
- Resolve any potential payroll disputes or discrepancies with high confidentiality and promptness.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of (2 to 4 years) of experience in payroll administration or financial accounting within an HR department.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas, are essential).
- Good knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) or recognized HR/payroll software.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local labor laws, social insurance regulations, and wage protection systems.
