General Accountant

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant to join our growing Food & Beverage operation in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, financial reporting, inventory control, cost analysis, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with Saudi financial and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Monitor inventory movements and perform regular reconciliations.
• Calculate and analyze food costs, wastage, and profitability.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Process payroll and employee-related financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, ZATCA requirements, and e-invoicing regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in restaurants, cloud kitchens, catering, or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software (Odoo, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management and food cost control.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications (SOCPA, CMA, CPA) are considered an advantage.
