Nafoud Al Athereia Contracting Company is seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee the execution of its infrastructure, water, and wastewater projects across Saudi Arabia.

Job Title: Executive Projects Manager - Infrastructure, Water & Wastewater Projects

📍 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with regular project-site visits

🕘 Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the execution of multiple infrastructure, water, and wastewater projects from mobilization through final handover.

• Develop and monitor project execution plans, schedules, budgets, cash-flow requirements, and resource-allocation plans.

• Ensure projects are delivered within the approved time, cost, quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

• Monitor project progress, identify delays and cost overruns, and implement effective recovery and corrective-action plans.

• Direct and evaluate Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Engineers, and supporting project teams.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, government entities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.

• Review project performance reports, work programs, productivity indicators, cost forecasts, and progress-invoice status.

• Oversee the technical and contractual management of variations, change orders, claims, extensions of time, and project risks.

• Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other resources required for project execution.

• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with approved scope, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.

• Coordinate with QS, Cost Control, Contracts, Procurement, Finance, and Business Development teams to ensure accurate project data and effective decision-making.

• Support the timely preparation, approval, and collection of project progress invoices (المستخلصات).

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract conditions, method statements, and applicable Saudi regulations.

• Enforce quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across all projects.

• Lead project closeout, testing, commissioning, final documentation, handover, and resolution of outstanding contractual matters.

• Provide executive management with accurate performance reports, early-warning indicators, and recommended decisions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

• Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior project-management or executive role.

• Proven experience in managing infrastructure, water, and wastewater projects in Saudi Arabia.

• Strong technical experience in water networks, transmission pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, wastewater networks, and related civil works.

• Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, contracts, claims, procurement, progress invoicing, and risk management.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams simultaneously.

• Strong knowledge of Saudi government-project requirements and coordination procedures.

• Professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is required.

• PMP certification or an equivalent project-management qualification is preferred.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and project-reporting systems.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, client-management, and decision-making skills.

• Fluency in Arabic and professional proficiency in English.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required; PgMP or an equivalent advanced project-management certification is an advantage.
