(HSE) Engineer
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated HSE Engineer with 2 years of experience to implement and oversee health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site. The role focuses on inspecting operations, minimizing workplace hazards, and ensuring full compliance with Saudi labor laws and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Inspections: Conduct daily audits and inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions, enforcing corrective actions immediately.
- Risk Assessment & Permits: Participate in developing Job Safety Analyses (JSA) / Risk Assessments and manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities.
- Safety Training: Deliver daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) and conduct safety orientations/inductions for new workers and subcontractors.
- Incident Investigation: Report and investigate workplace incidents or near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Compliance & PPE: Ensure all site personnel strictly comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards and local health and safety regulations.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering, Civil/Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of HSE engineering experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Professional Accreditation: Active registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE). (NEBOSH IGC or OSHA certifications are a plus).
- Technical & Soft Skills: Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 / OSHA standards, excellent hazard identification skills, and strong communication in English, Arabic
