Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Forklift Operator role. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and related equipment to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse and loading areas. Daily tasks include receiving and organizing incoming shipments, transporting materials to designated storage locations, and preparing outgoing orders through accurate packing and staging. The role involves verifying quantities and labels, maintaining clean and orderly work areas, and following company safety procedures and equipment inspection routines. The Forklift Operator will work closely with warehouse and logistics staff to ensure efficient, timely material handling and shipment processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating forklifts, including safe maneuvering, loading, and stacking of materials
• Valid forklift operator's license/certification
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, including routine equipment checks and use of personal protective equipment
• Skills in Shipping & Receiving, including verifying documentation, checking quantities, and organizing inbound and outbound goods
• Ability to load, move, and organize materials safely and efficiently, including sorting and placement of products
• Packing skills, including preparing orders, labeling, and securing materials for transport
• Experience in warehouse or logistics environments and familiarity with basic inventory procedures
• Basic reading and numeracy skills to interpret work orders, labels, and inventory records
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move materials within reasonable weight limits
• Strong commitment, discipline, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members
