About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in the role of Automotive Service Coordinator. In this position, you will serve as a vital link between our customers, technicians, and management, ensuring smooth operations and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the automotive industry. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in automotive technology or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in customer service, automotive dealership, or service center environment.
• Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to automotive service management.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule vehicle repairs and maintenance appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely service delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist technicians by providing detailed service orders and ensuring all necessary information is accurately documented.
• Monitor work progress and communicate with customers regarding vehicle status and completion times.
• Manage customer records and service history to facilitate future interactions and service planning.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations during all operations.
• Collaborate with parts department and vendors to ensure availability of necessary parts and supplies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing clients.
