Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agricultural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in date palm cultivation, vegetable production, greenhouse management, irrigation systems, crop nutrition, and pest management. The role involves overseeing agricultural activities, improving productivity, and implementing modern farming practices to achieve sustainable and high-quality crop production.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and manage agricultural operations related to date palms, vegetables, and greenhouse crops.
• Develop and implement irrigation, fertilization, and crop protection programs.
• Monitor crop health and identify solutions for pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
• Optimize greenhouse production systems to maximize yield and quality.
• Conduct field inspections and provide technical recommendations to improve farm performance.
• Oversee planting, cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest activities.
• Analyze soil, water, and crop data to support informed agricultural decisions.
• Ensure compliance with agricultural best practices, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate agricultural records.
• Train and guide farm staff on proper agricultural techniques and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in agricultural operations.
• Proven experience in date palms, vegetable crops, greenhouse cultivation, and irrigation management.
• Strong knowledge of fertigation systems, crop nutrition, and integrated pest management.
• Ability to diagnose crop issues and provide effective technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agricultural management software.
