Role Description The Chair at SHAR Company is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in the Riyadh Region. This position oversees strategic direction, governance, and performance of the business, working closely with senior leaders to align operational plans with long-term objectives. The Chair facilitates board and executive meetings, ensures effective decision-making, and monitors key initiatives, budgets, and risk management activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding leadership teams, representing the company to key stakeholders, supporting major projects and partnerships, and promoting a culture of integrity, safety, and continuous improvement. The role also involves mentoring leaders, supporting talent development, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in construction, engineering, or a related industry, with a track record of managing large teams or complex organizations.
• Strong strategic planning and governance capabilities, including experience with board-level decision-making and organizational performance management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
• Proficiency in business and financial acumen, including budgeting, risk assessment, and oversight of major projects or investments.
• Commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces, talent development, and a culture of innovation, safety, and ethical conduct.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
• Previous experience in the Saudi construction sector or regional markets is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are considered beneficial.
