Tendering Specialist - Job Description
A
Tendering Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering and bid preparation process for projects. The role involves reviewing tender requirements, coordinating with internal stakeholders, preparing commercial and technical proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications, and submitting competitive bids within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, and ITTs.
- Coordinate with sales, technical, procurement, finance, and legal teams to obtain required information for bid submissions.
- Prepare and compile technical and commercial proposals in accordance with client requirements.
- Ensure all tender submissions are compliant with contractual, technical, and commercial specifications.
- Coordinate pricing and cost estimation activities to develop competitive offers.
- Manage bid schedules and ensure timely submission of tenders.
- Maintain tender records, databases, and document control processes.
- Clarify bid requirements with clients and respond to tender queries.
- Identify risks, assumptions, and opportunities within tender documents.
- Support contract negotiations and handover to project execution teams after award.
- Monitor tender outcomes and conduct post-bid reviews to improve future submissions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering field.
- Proven experience in tendering, bidding, proposals, or commercial operations (Minimum 3Years)
- Strong understanding of procurement and contract management processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
