هذا الدور الإداري الناشئ مسؤول عن توجيه فريق من مهندسي الشبكات والمتخصصين لتصميم وتنفيذ وصيانة بنية تحتية شبكية قوية وفعالة. يجمع الدور بين الخبرة الفنية والمهارات الإدارية وإدارة المشاريع لضمان نجاح الفريق في تقديم حلول شبكية عالية الجودة تلبي احتياجات الأعمال. كما يتولى قائد الفريق تعزيز التعاون ووضع المعايير الفنية وتوجيه أعضاء الفريق.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تعزيز ثقافة فريق إيجابية، وتشجيع النمو المهني، وتعزيز التعاون.
- التعاون مع الفريق لتصميم وهندسة حلول الشبكات بما في ذلك شبكات LAN وWAN ومراكز البيانات والشبكات السحابية.
- ضمان توافق تصاميم الشبكات مع متطلبات الأعمال وأفضل الممارسات في المجال.

- قيادة جهود تحسين أداء الشبكات عبر تحليل أنماط الحركة المرورية، وتطبيق إجراءات QoS، وإجراء تعديلات التكوين.
- التعاون مع فرق متعددة التخصصات (مسؤولي الأنظمة، فرق الأمن، مطوري التطبيقات، وأصحاب المصلحة من الأعمال).
- التواصل الفعّال لضمان تنفيذ المشاريع بسلاسة ومشاركة المعرفة.
- وضع وتطبيق المعايير الفنية وأفضل الممارسات وعمليات الحوكمة لهندسة الشبكات.
- ضمان الامتثال للوائح الصناعية وسياسات الأمان.
- تعزيز تطوير المهارات والتعلّم المستمر وثقافة الابتكار.
- إدارة العلاقات مع موردي معدات الشبكات ومقدمي الخدمات والشركاء التقنيين.
- تقييم عروض الموردين والتفاوض على العقود.
- ضمان تلبية حلول الشبكات لمتطلبات الأمان عبر تطبيق إجراءات أمان فعّالة وضوابط الوصول وأنظمة المراقبة.
- تخطيط سعة الشبكة وقابلية التوسع لاستيعاب النمو والاحتياجات المتطورة للأعمال.
المهارات المطلوبة
- خبرة متينة في مفاهيم الشبكات والبروتوكولات والهياكل والخدمات.
- إتقان تكوين وإدارة أجهزة الشبكات المعقدة (الموجّهات، المحوّلات، جدران الحماية، موازنات التحميل، وحدات التحكم اللاسلكية).
- معرفة بروتوكولات وتقنيات الشبكات المتقدمة مثل BGP وOSPF وVLANs وVPNs وQoS وبروتوكولات الأمان.
- مهارات جيدة في التوثيق والتواصل مع الجمهور التقني وغير التقني.
- قدرات في إدارة المشاريع وتخصيص الموارد وإدارة الميزانيات.
- مهارات جيدة في حل المشكلات لتشخيص وحل المشكلات الشبكية المعقدة.
- قدرات إدارية نامية للأفراد مع التركيز على التعاون وتعزيز الابتكار.
- القدرة على إدارة وقيادة الفرق التقنية.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس أو ما يعادلها في تكنولوجيا المعلومات أو علوم الحاسب أو مجال ذي صلة.
- شهادة إدارة الشبكات (Azure، Google، Amazon) مفضلة.
- الشهادات ذات الصلة مثل CompTIA Network+ أو CCNA أو JNCIA تعتبر ميزة إضافية.
- الشهادات المتقدمة مثل CCIE أو JNCIE أو ما يعادلها مفضلة.

The Team Lead, Network & Voice is a developing management role, responsible for guiding a team of network engineers and specialists to design, implement, and maintain a robust and efficient network infrastructure.
This role combines technical expertise, managerial, and project management skills to ensure the team's success in delivering high-quality network solutions that meet business needs.
The Senior Team Lead, Network Engineering is also responsible for driving collaboration, setting technical standards, and mentoring team members.
Key responsibilities:
- Fosters a positive team culture, encourages professional growth, and promotes collaboration.
- Collaborates with the team to design and architect network solutions, including LAN, WAN, data centre, and cloud networks.
- Ensures that network designs align with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Provides technical guidance and oversight to team members during the design, configuration, and implementation of network solutions.
- Reviews and approves network designs and configurations.
- Oversees the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
- Leads network-related projects, establishes project plans, allocates resources, and ensures that projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Leads efforts to optimise network performance by analysing traffic patterns, implementing QoS measures, and making configuration adjustments.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including systems administrators, security teams, application developers, and business stakeholders.
- Communicates effectively to ensure smooth project execution and knowledge sharing.
- Establishes and enforces technical standards, best practices, and governance processes for network engineering.
- Ensures compliance with industry regulations and security policies.
- Fosters skill development, encourages continuous learning, and promotes a culture of innovation.
- Manages relationships with network equipment vendors, service providers, and technology partners
- Evaluates vendor offerings and negotiates contracts
- Ensures that network solutions meet security requirements by implementing effective security measures, access controls, and monitoring systems
- Plans network capacity and scalability to accommodate business growth and evolving needs
- Solid expertise in networking concepts, protocols, architectures, and services.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing complex network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
- Knowledge of advanced network protocols and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and security protocols.
- Good documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project management, resource allocation, and budget management abilities.
- Good problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Developing people management capabilities with a focus on collaboration and fostering innovation.
- Ability to manage and lead technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Network Administration certification (Azure, Google, Amazon) preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA) are beneficial.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE), or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Solid experience in network engineering, including progressive roles in design, implementation, and leadership.
- Solid experience working in a networking environment.
- Solid experience with network security.
- Solid WAN and LAN experience.
- Solid experience in wireless equipment, protocols, standards, and wireless LAN design.
- Solid familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.) and network automation concepts is a plus.
- Relevant experience leading and managing a networking (or similar) engineering team.
