Job Overview:

The WCC Engineer is responsible for coordinating and monitoring maintenance activities within an O&M/FM environment, using IBM Maximo/CMMS to manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, equipment data, and maintenance reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance activities for all services through IBM Maximo.
• Initiate work orders after approval and monitor them through completion and closure.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and follow up on work-order feedback.
• Maintain and update equipment, asset, and location data in the system.
• Coordinate between Stores and maintenance teams regarding materials required for work orders.
• Monitor compliance with company maintenance procedures and policies.
• Modify and maintain the Preventive Maintenance Master Plan as required.
• Prepare maintenance, work-order, and operational reports for management review.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• Preferred disciplines include Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or other relevant engineering fields.
• Certification or training in CMMS, CAFM, IBM Maximo, Maintenance Management, or Facilities Management is an advantage.

Key Skills

• IBM Maximo / CMMS / CAFM - Work-order management, asset and location updates.
• Maintenance Planning & Scheduling - Preventive and corrective maintenance planning.
• O&M / Facilities Management - Understanding of maintenance and FM operations.
• Work Order & SLA Management - Monitoring work orders, completion, and service performance.
• Reporting & Data Analysis - Preparing and analyzing maintenance reports.
• Coordination & Communication - Coordinating with supervisors, technicians, Stores, and other teams.
• Problem Solving & Attention to Detail - Maintaining accurate system data and improving maintenance workflows.

Years of Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in WCC, O&M, Facilities Management, Maintenance Planning, CAFM, or CMMS operations.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, CMMS, CAFM, or a similar maintenance management system is required.
• Experience in a large-scale O&M or Facilities Management environment is preferred.
