مستشفى الملك فيصل التخصصي ومركز الأبحاث بالرياض يعلن عن توفر وظيفة مساعد استشاري في تخصص الأورام الإشعاعية للرأس والعنق والأطفال والأورام اللمفاوية (Head, Neck, Pediatric & Lymphoma - Radiation Oncology).

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • مساعدة الاستشاريين في تقديم الرعاية الطبية للمرضى في تخصص الأورام الإشعاعية للرأس والعنق والأطفال والأورام اللمفاوية وفقاً لمعايير الرعاية الطبية المعتمدة.
  • دراسة وتقييم الحالات، وإجراء الفحوصات السريرية، وجمع التاريخ المرضي، والمساعدة في تشخيص وإدارة المرضى وفقاً للمعايير التشخيصية.
  • تسجيل التاريخ الطبي المفصل، وإجراء الفحص البدني الشامل، ووضع خطة إدارة المريض ومتابعتها لمناقشتها مع الاستشاري، ثم توثيق أوامر الاستشاري والملاحظات والسجلات المطلوبة للمرضى الخارجيين.
  • تغطية المناوبات في التخصص بشكل دوري خلال المساء والليل وعطلات نهاية الأسبوع والعطلات الرسمية.
  • التحضير والمشاركة في الجولات السريرية للاستشاريين والأخصائيين حسب السياسة، وتوثيق النتائج في السجلات الطبية.
  • متابعة نتائج الفحوصات للمرضى الخارجيين وتعديل العلاج وفقاً لذلك.
  • حضور عيادات التخصص والعيادات الخارجية والمشاركة في جدول المناوبات حسب المتطلبات.
  • أداء المسؤوليات السريرية الأخرى الموكلة إليه.
  • تقديم التوجيه والتدريب السريري المباشر والإشراف على المتدربين والمقيمين والزملاء حسب التكليف.
  • الاطلاع على أحدث التقنيات والتطورات في مجال التخصص وتطبيقها بشكل انتقائي لتحسين المعايير الفنية.
  • المشاركة في الأنشطة التعليمية والبرامج التدريبية للقسم.
  • المشاركة في المؤتمرات الطبية المحلية والدولية.

المؤهلات التعليمية

  • التخرج من كلية طب معترف بها، واستكمال فترة التدريب المطلوبة بعد التخرج في التخصص و/أو التخصص الفرعي، مع الحصول على البورد السعودي/الأمريكي أو الكندي/البريطاني أو ما يعادله وفقاً للجنة اعتماد الكوادر الطبية.

الخبرة المطلوبة

  • سنتان (2) من التدريب في التخصص والتخصص الفرعي بالإضافة إلى خبرة ما بعد التدريب.

Summary

Assists in providing medical care in the field of Head, Neck, Pediatric & Lymphoma - Radiation Oncology, and supervises interns and residents, in accordance with current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and the Hospital’s policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Clinical Responsibilities:

Assists the Consultants in providing required patient care and management in the field of Head, Neck, Pediatric &Lymphoma - Radiation Oncology, in accordance with standards of medical care laid down by the Healthcare Delivery.

Studies and performs assessment, examination and the compilation of a case history and assists in the diagnosis and management of the patient in accordance with criteria listed in diagnostic manuals such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual.

Registers detailed medical history, conducts a thorough physical examination and creates a plan for patient management and follows-up for discussion with the Consultant. Subsequently, records the consultant’s orders, progress notes and other required documents for outpatients.

Provides on-call coverage frothier specialty on a rotational basis during evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Prepares for and participates in consultant and specialist ward rounds as per policy. Documents findings in medical records.

Follows up on investigation results for outpatients and modifies treatment accordingly.

Attends specialty clinics, outpatient clinics, and shares on on-call schedule as per requirements.

Performs other clinical responsibilities, as assigned.

Academic Responsibilities:
Provides orientation, bedside training and supervision of interns, residents and fellows as assigned.

Keeps abreast of all the latest techniques and developments, especially in area of specialization. Implements them on a selective basis to improve technical standards.

Participates in the educational activities and training programs of the department.

Participates in national and international medical conferences.

Education

Graduation from a medical school in good standing, completion of required period of postgraduate training in a specialty and/or subspecialty, with Saudi/American Board or Canadian/UK certification, or equivalent as outlined by the Medical Staff Credentialing Committee.

Experience Required

Two (2) years of training in specialty and subspecialty plus post-training experience required.
