Role Description This full-time, on-site Instrumentation Engineer role is based in the Riyadh Region and focuses on supporting and optimizing industrial processes through effective instrumentation and control systems. The Instrumentation Engineer will design, install, configure, and maintain instrumentation and control equipment, ensuring accurate measurement and reliable performance of process variables. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring system performance, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating calibration activities to align instruments with technical and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with electrical and mechanical teams, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting process control improvements to enhance operational efficiency. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, participate in root cause analyses, and ensure compliance with relevant industry, safety, and quality regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Instrumentation and Process Control, with experience in configuring and integrating field instruments and control systems.
- Hands-on skills in Troubleshooting and Calibration of industrial instrumentation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with standards.
- Foundation in Electrical Engineering principles relevant to instrumentation, wiring, signal types, and safety in industrial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with PLC/DCS systems, SCADA interfaces, and industrial automation is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with safety standards, maintenance best practices, and documentation of technical procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, process industries, or digital transformation environments is an advantage.
