We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 5-7 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, and/or real estate development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical engineering activities, site execution, technical coordination, inspections, testing and commissioning, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes and standards.

• Supervise and manage mechanical installation and construction activities at project sites.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, BOQs, material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and other technical documents.
• Supervise installation of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, water supply, pumps, and other mechanical systems.
• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, civil, architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure mechanical installations are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Review contractor and subcontractor work and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure mechanical works are completed according to the approved schedule.
• Verify mechanical materials and equipment delivered to site against approved technical submittals and specifications.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover of mechanical systems.
• Monitor quality control and ensure proper inspection and documentation of mechanical works.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, inspection records, technical reports, and other project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE, quality, and mechanical safety requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering, construction, infrastructure, or real estate development projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, pumps, piping, and associated mechanical systems.
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings, schematics, technical specifications, BOQs, and project documentation.
• Experience in site supervision, installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant mechanical/MEP engineering software.
• Familiarity with relevant mechanical engineering codes, standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Excellent analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently manage mechanical site activities and resolve technical issues.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia’s construction, infrastructure, or real estate sector and familiarity with local codes and standards is preferred.
