A Snapshot of Your Day
As a GT/GTG Electrical & Instrument Specialist, you will provide critical on-site technical expertise, ensuring operational continuity for Gas Services customers. Your role will encompass on-site commissioning and technical services, advanced troubleshooting, and customer relationship management, directly supporting service delivery objectives throughout the equipment’s operational lifecycle.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead the on-site commissioning, installation, and testing of gas service products and equipment according to project specifications.
- Provide expert technical advice to customers during equipment start-up and initial operational phases.
- Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical and mechanical problems on customer equipment.
- Perform and oversee scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure long-term system reliability and performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify potential for future business.
- Coach and mentor lower-level professionals or contractors on-site, providing technical guidance and support.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5-8 years of experience in a field service or commissioning role within the power generation or oil and gas industry.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage complex technical projects as a senior professional.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent customer management skills and the ability to develop strong relationships.
- Knowledge of safety standards, quality protocols, and project management principles.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
