Your Impact
You will interact with different IT groups, including coordination, office IT, the product team, vendors, and others, to ensure the appropriate supply chain of assets for this location.
You’ll work in our Riyadh office as part of our Global Provisioning Capabilities in the Global TechHubs function. Moreover, you will interact with colleagues to coordinate equipment delivery or support their needs/questions.
The Tech Hub provides IT equipment support, logistics, and hardware life-cycle management across multiple service lines (new hire, migration, loaner, break-fix, quick ship) for McKinsey colleagues in the specified location or region. You will be responsible for the setup, configuration, restoration, and shipment of IT equipment. In addition, you are responsible for all processes related to warehousing and materials management, including monitoring and optimizing inventory levels and refilling inventories. Your responsibilities include purchasing activities such as obtaining offers and submitting orders, reviewing order confirmations, and tracking adherence to delivery deadlines.
Furthermore, you will maintain inventory management systems and optimize existing sourcing and service processes. Updating asset warehouse and ticket management systems is as much your responsibility as packaging, labeling, and shipping IT equipment.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in configuring IT equipment incl. Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Mobile devices, etc
- Strong understanding of the Technical accepts
- Solid, practical experience in purchasing and logistics
- Strong technical IT skills (in particular PC configuration)
- A clear service orientation and a careful approach to work
- Sound judgment that enables you to assess situations correctly and prioritize tasks appropriately so that you can keep sight of details even under pressure
- The ability to work well in a team while being independent and self-motivated, and to adjust quickly and flexibly to new situations
- Work collaboratively and proactively
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
