Job Title: Warehouse Storekeeper

Department: Supply Chain / Warehouse

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary

The Warehouse Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory within the hospital warehouse. The role ensures accurate stock management, proper storage of supplies, and timely distribution of materials to hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, and issue medical and non-medical supplies in accordance with hospital procedures
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure the availability of required supplies
• Conduct stock counts, inventory reconciliation, and stock rotation to minimize shortages, excess stock, and expired items
• Ensure supplies are stored safely and correctly according to storage, quality, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in warehousing, inventory management, storekeeping, or a related field
• Healthcare or hospital experience is preferred
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures is an advantage
