We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team in the Food Industry in Saudi Arabia.

We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in logistics, international shipping, and customs clearance in Saudi Arabia, someone who understands the process beyond just tracking shipments.

• Manage and follow up on shipments from the time they are dispatched until they arrive in Saudi Arabia and are fully cleared.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transport providers.
• Follow up on international shipping, customs clearance, and final delivery.
• Manage and follow up on customs clearance requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Handle shipment-related requirements through the FASAH platform.
• Review and ensure accuracy of shipping and customs documentation.
• Follow up on customs declarations, inspections, duties, fees, and shipment release.
• Ensure imported food shipments meet applicable Saudi requirements.
• Resolve shipment, documentation, and customs clearance issues.
• Monitor ETAs, shipment status, clearance progress, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate shipment trackers and logistics records.
• Monitor logistics costs, including freight, clearance, demurrage, detention, and storage.
• Prepare regular shipment and logistics status reports.
  

• 3-5+ years of hands-on logistics experience.
• Strong experience in international shipping and customs clearance in Saudi Arabia.
• Practical knowledge of the Saudi customs clearance process and FASAH platform.
• Experience dealing with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport companies.
• Experience with food product imports is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of shipping and import documentation.
• Strong follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of both Arabic and English is a must.
