Job Purpose:

Assist in the management and administration of implementing and managing an effective quality management framework for Project Delivery functions to ensure sustainable delivery of World Class standards of service across all functions. Quality Assurance Engineer will coordinate between different functions of project delivery and will be responsible of creating workflows, templates, forms, mapping processes & procedures and developing excel models.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and other contract documents to identify quality requirements.
• Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans for assigned projects.
• Conduct inspections of all phases of construction, including materials, workmanship, and compliance with codes and standards.
• Identify and document non-conformance issues and work with contractors to develop corrective actions.
• Verify the completion of corrective actions and ensure all deficiencies are resolved.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and reports.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and handover meetings.
• Maintain a strong understanding of relevant building codes, fire safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and materials used in Coastal Contracting Company projects.
• May assist with the preparation of submittals and shop drawings.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in QA/QC within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishes used in building and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and fire safety regulations.
• Proficiency in construction, quality management systems and software.
