Job Purpose

Prepare and execute aerodrome compliance policies and procedures by conducting audits, analyzing data, providing training, and tracking safety procedures to foster proactive compliance and enhance overall safety performance at the aerodrome. 

Position Accountability Description

Operational Excellence

1.Regularly review aerodrome operations to ensure adherence to aviation regulations and internal policies, implementing corrective measures as needed. This includes continuous monitoring of aerodrome licensing requirements to ensure compliance with GACA and international aviation standards. 
2.Organize and deliver training sessions for aerodrome staff on compliance requirements and safety protocols and updates to GACA regulations. These sessions will emphasize the importance of following all operational procedures in line with the latest airport licensing standards and regulatory expectations 
3.Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, inspections, and audits, ensuring documentation is accurate and readily available for regulatory review, particularly in preparation for GACA audits and airport license renewals. Ensure that all airport documentation, including operational manuals, safety protocols, and CAP (Corrective Action Plans), are regularly reviewed and updated in compliance with GACA requirements. 
4.Conduct detailed reviews of operational procedures to ensure that aerodrome operations are running smoothly and according to the latest GACA regulations. Ensure that all aspects of airport operations, including ground handling, safety inspections, and equipment maintenance, align with the standards required for continuous airport licensing and regulatory compliance. 
5.Assist in managing the issuance and renewal of driving and operational licenses for employees working in the airside, ensuring all personnel are certified and compliant with GACA regulations for safe operations on the airfield. 

Facility Inspections: 
6.Inspect aerodrome facilities and operations regularly to ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards. 7.Document findings and report any discrepancies or concerns to the compliance management team for timely resolution.

Assessments and Investigations: 
8.Analyze data from safety audits and risk assessments to identify trends and areas for improvement. 
9.Provide insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders for enhancing safety practices and mitigating potential risks. 
10.Conduct thorough investigations into compliance breaches and safety incidents by gathering information and documenting findings. 
11.Develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence and enhance compliance. 

Regulation Adaption and Compliance Reporting: 
12.Prepare detailed compliance reports and documentation to support internal audits and external inspections, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible. 

Position Accountability Description

13.Ensure overall transparency and accountability of the compliance process. 
14.Adapt existing compliance frameworks to incorporate new regulations and standards by collaborating with team members. 
15.Maintain a proactive approach to regulatory changes to ensure seamless transitions and continuous adherence to updated protocols.

Performance Tracking and Reporting: 
16.Track compliance metrics and performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of safety programs. 
17.Provide regular updates to the compliance team and suggest improvements based on data analysis and observed trends. 
18.Draft detailed incident reports and compliance assessments, ensuring documentation is clear, concise, and accurately reflects findings and recommendations. 
19.Prepare effective communication and follow-up actions.

20.Develop collaborative relationships with internal departments and external agencies to support compliance efforts. Facilitate information sharing and cooperation to enhance overall safety and regulatory adherence.
