WSP في الشرق الأوسط تبحث عن مهندس مقيم (Resident Engineer) للإشراف على مشروع مباني رئيسي في جدة، المملكة العربية السعودية.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

نحن نبحث عن مهندس مقيم (RE) متمرس لقيادة والإشراف على أعمال الإشراف لمشروع مباني كبير في جدة. يتطلب الدور قيادة تقنية قوية، ومهارات تنسيق ممتازة، والقدرة على إدارة المقاولين وحل مشاكل الموقع وضمان الامتثال الكامل للتصاميم والمواصفات وكود البناء السعودي. ستعمل كممثل العميل في الموقع، لضمان تسليم المشروع بأمان وفي الوقت المحدد وبأعلى معايير الجودة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة أنشطة الإشراف اليومية في الموقع لجميع الأعمال المعمارية والإنشائية والميكانيكية والكهربائية والسباكة (MEP).
  • ضمان تنفيذ البناء وفقاً للرسومات المعتمدة والمواصفات ومعايير المشروع.
  • إدارة وتوجيه فريق الإشراف (مهندسي التخصصات، المفتشين، مساح الكميات، الصحة والسلامة والبيئة).
  • مراجعة واعتماد المخططات التنفيذية، ومذكرات التقديم للمواد، وبيانات الطرق، وطلبات المعلومات (RFIs).
  • مراقبة تقدم المقاول، وتحديد التأخيرات، ودعم استراتيجيات التخفيف.
  • إجراء تفتيشات دورية للموقع، ومراجعات الجودة، وجولات السلامة.
  • رئاسة اجتماعات التقدم الأسبوعية وإعداد تقارير مفصلة للعميل.
  • التنسيق مع فرق التصميم لحل المشكلات الفنية وتنفيذ تغييرات التصميم.
  • ضمان الامتثال لكود البناء السعودي ومتطلبات الجهات الرسمية وإجراءات ضبط الجودة / مراقبة الجودة للمشروع.
  • الإشراف على أنشطة الاختبار والتشغيل والتسليم.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو العمارة أو تخصص ذي صلة (يفضل الماجستير).
  • خبرة 20+ سنة، منها 5 سنوات على الأقل في دور مهندس مقيم أو إشراف أول.
  • خلفية قوية في مشاريع المباني (سكنية، تجارية، متعددة الاستخدامات، أو مؤسسية).
  • خبرة مثبتة في العمل مع الاستشارات الهندسية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي؛ الخبرة في السعودية مفضلة.
  • معرفة ممتازة بالإشراف على البناء، وضبط الجودة / مراقبة الجودة، وإدارة العقود.
  • مهارات قوية في التواصل والقيادة وإدارة أصحاب المصلحة.
  • الإلمام بالجهات الرسمية المحلية.
  • العضوية في هيئة هندسية مهنية تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (RE) to lead and oversee the supervision of a major buildings project in Jeddah The role requires strong technical leadership, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage contractors, resolve site issues, and ensure full compliance with design, specifications, and Saudi building codes.

You will act as the client’s on‑site representative, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day site supervision activities for all architectural, structural, and MEP works.
  • Ensure construction is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
  • Manage and guide the supervision team (discipline engineers, inspectors, QS, HSE).
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.
  • Monitor contractor progress, identify delays, and support mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and safety walks.
  • Chair weekly progress meetings and prepare detailed reports for the client.
  • Coordinate with design teams to resolve technical issues and implement design changes.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, local authority requirements, and project QA/QC procedures.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover activities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
  • 20+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a Resident Engineer or Senior Supervision role.
  • Strong background in buildings projects (residential, commercial, mixed‑use, or institutional).
  • Proven experience working with engineering consultancies in the GCC; Saudi experience preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction supervision, QA/QC, and contract administration.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Familiarity with local authorities.
  • Membership in a professional engineering body is an advantage.
