شركة WSP in the Middle East تبحث عن مستشار أول - مصمم إضاءة معمارية (Senior Consultant - Architectural Lighting Designer) للعمل في الرياض.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • يمتلك فهماً شاملاً لعملية تصميم الإضاءة، مع سجل حافل في تنفيذ مشاريع تصميم الإضاءة بجميع مراحلها ومخرجاتها، والإشراف على الاستشاريين وفرق الدعم لضمان سير العمل بسلاسة.
  • القدرة على توصيل الأفكار التصميمية شفهياً وبصرياً، وتقديم مفاهيم تصميم إضاءة فريدة وعالية الجودة مصممة خصيصاً لمواصفات العميل، مع التكيف مع التغييرات واقتراح حلول مبتكرة غير تقليدية.
  • اتباع نهج شامل في تصميم الإضاءة يراعي المبنى بأكمله بدلاً من الأنظمة الفردية.
  • إتقان تطوير الرسومات اليدوية عالية الجودة، والكفاءة في استخدام برامج InDesign وPhotoshop وDialux أو Relux وAutoCAD وMicrosoft Office، مع فهم جيد لـ Revit وBIM.

  • إعداد المواصفات وفقاً للمتطلبات التقنية للمشروع، وإجراء عمليات التفتيش الموقعي بما في ذلك فحص العيوب وضمان الامتثال لرؤية التصميم.
  • الإشراف على عمليات التشغيل، وتوجيه وضبط التركيبات القابلة للتعديل، وضبط مستويات الإضاءة المناسبة لتتوافق مع مواصفات التصميم.
  • التعاون مع المهندسين المعماريين ومهندسي المناظر الطبيعية والمصممين الداخليين، بما في ذلك أعضاء الفريق الداخليين والتخصصات الأخرى طوال مراحل المشروع.

  • المشاركة في المؤتمرات والمعارض للاطلاع على أحدث اتجاهات السوق ومشاركة النتائج مع الفريق، وحضور ورش العمل التقنية وجلسات التعلم مع المصنعين والمقاولين لفهم عمليات التركيب ومشاركة المعرفة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المعمارية أو مجال ذي صلة، ودرجة الماجستير في تصميم الإضاءة المعمارية أو تخصص مماثل مع مؤهلات مهنية كاملة.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات في استشارات تصميم الإضاءة.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • مهارات تواصل قوية، مع قدرات ممتازة في الكتابة والتحدث.
  • إجادة أدوات تصميم الإضاءة (مثل Dialux/Relux)، ومنصات CAD/BIM، وبرامج العروض التقديمية (ميزة إضافية).
  • القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وعن بعد مع البقاء على تواصل مع الفريق الأساسي.
  • حس تصميمي قوي والاهتمام بالتفاصيل.

Job Description

WSP Middle East are looking for talented Lighting Design professionals to join our growing Innovation Lighting Design team across KSA and the UAE.

We are keen to connect with passionate and creative Consultant / Senior Consultant - Lighting Design professionals who are driven by the power of light to transform spaces, and are excited to work on high-impact projects alongside some of the region’s most forward-thinking designers and engineers.

Responsibilities

Lighting Design Experience

  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the lighting design process, with a proven track record of successfully completing lighting design projects across all stages and deliverables. Typically oversees consultants and support teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Able to effectively communicate design ideas both verbally and visually, delivering unique and high-quality lighting design concepts tailored to specific client briefs while adapting to changes and proposing innovative, out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Approaches lighting design with a holistic, whole-building perspective, rather than a systems-based approach.
  • Skilled in developing high-quality hand sketches and proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Dialux or Relux, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, with a solid understanding of Revit and BIM.
  • Experienced in providing markups and contributing to the production of deliverables, from concept to tender stages, including concept presentations, luminaire specifications, control schedules, calculations, BOQ, layouts, and detailed drawings.
  • Capable of creating visually appealing lighting design documents, such as reports and presentations, that effectively communicate technical information in clear and accessible language.
  • Able to create specifications in line with relevant technical project requirements. Experienced in conducting site inspections, including defect inspections and ensuring compliance with design intent.
  • Proficient in supervising commissioning processes, directing and aiming adjustable fittings, and setting appropriate lighting levels to meet design specifications.


Project Management Capabilities

  • Collaborates with architects, landscape architects, and interior designers, including internal team members and other disciplines, throughout the project stages.
  • Independently while maintaining effective liaison with relevant stakeholders.
  • Supports and liaises with other specialist teams, including technical and commercial disciplines, when necessary.
  • Supervises contractor’s lighting design implementation with hands-on involvement, applying deep technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Coordinates technical workshops with suppliers to stay aligned with new and innovative product trends.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the team’s skills and knows when to leverage the experience of others.
  • Conducts on-site reviews to support technical inspections.


Team Collaboration

  • Contributes to the growth of the lighting design team within the organization.
  • Brings technical expertise in relevant lighting industry code standards.
  • Ensures that health and safety practices are integrated into all work, adhering to company policies.
  • Participates in conferences and exhibitions to stay updated on the latest market trends, sharing findings with the team.
  • Attends technical workshops and learning sessions with manufacturers and fabricators, gaining a detailed understanding of installation processes and sharing knowledge with the team


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field, and a Master’s degree in Architectural Lighting Design or a similar discipline with full professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 08 years of relevant experience in lighting design consultancy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in lighting design tools (e.g., Dialux/Relux), CAD/BIM platforms, and presentation software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while remaining engaged with the core team.
