Job Purpose:

Safeguard personal and sensitive data, ensures compliance with privacy regulations, and acts as the primary contact for all data protection matters at Fakeeh Care Group.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develops and implements data protection policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Manages and ensures Fakeeh Care’s compliance with applicable data protection laws.
• Designs, delivers, and conducts training programs to educate employees on data privacy, cybersecurity awareness, and compliant practices.
• Conducts regular audits and assessments to evaluate data protection effectiveness and adherence to regulations.
• Serves as the primary liaison between Fakeeh Care and relevant data protection authorities.
• Establishes, implements, and monitors technical and administrative measures to protect sensitive health and patient data.
• Advises on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and other risk assessments for new projects, systems, and processes.
• Monitors, investigates, and reports on data breaches and security incidents, ensuring proper escalation and timely notification to regulators and affected parties.
• Promotes and maintains a culture of data protection and cybersecurity awareness across Fakeeh Care Group.
• Stays updated on evolving local and international data privacy and security regulations to ensure continuous compliance.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations.
• Ability to develop and implement data protection policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
• Ability to investigate and manage data breaches and security incidents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and training skills to promote data privacy awareness.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data protection, information security or a related field.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

Language:

• Excellent command of oral and written English and prefer Arabic.

Licenses / Certifications:

• SCE.
