Job Purpose:

Detect security threats ('events'), analyze and assess alarms, and report on threats.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
• Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
• Stay current on Information Technology (IT) security trends and news.
• Monitor computer networks and systems for threats and security breaches.
• Investigating Security Breaches.
• Use advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and respond to 'phishing' emails and 'pharming' activity.
• Identify potential weaknesses and implement measures, such as firewalls and encryption.
• Test and evaluate security products.
• Assist with the creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in information security or related field.
• Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
• Understanding firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts.
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 years of experience with Network security and Cybersecurity or related field.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or Information Technology.

Language:

• Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.

Licenses / Certifications:

• SCE.
